Tracy McCall stands with the Coastal Bend.

Sustainable Growth

McCall connects the district's economic future directly to water security: without a reliable supply, she says, "we cannot grow, we cannot attract business, and we cannot protect the quality of life our families deserve."

Water Security

"Water. Action. Results.", backed by a career spent working on industrial water systems.

Local Leadership

A lifelong District 1 resident, McCall is running to give the district "the strong, experienced voice it deserves" at City Hall.

Infrastructure & Planning

McCall has made street and drainage repair a top priority, tying it directly to public safety. She points out that poor road conditions cause accidents that pull police officers away from other duties.

Why District 1 needs Tracy McCall.

Tracy McCall is a Tuloso-Midway High School graduate with a chemical engineering degree from Texas A&M University-Kingsville and an MBA from Columbia Southern University. She has spent her career as an engineering business consultant, with years of hands-on experience in industrial and water systems, exactly the technical background District 1 needs at the table as the Coastal Bend works through its water crisis.

District 1 is facing real stakes this November: an unresolved regional water crisis, streets and drainage in need of repair, and public safety resources stretched thin by avoidable road conditions. McCall’s engineering background gives her a technical understanding of water infrastructure that few other candidates can match. She’s not just talking about the water crisis, she’s spent her career working on it.

This is McCall’s second campaign for the District 1 seat. She first ran in 2022, and in the years since she has stayed focused on the district’s water and infrastructure needs, building her current campaign around the same core message: a secure water supply is the foundation everything else in District 1 depends on, from growth to public safety to quality of life.

Without a councilmember who treats water as the emergency it is, District 1 risks more of the same delays that have left the Coastal Bend’s water future uncertain. Tracy McCall has made water security the center of her campaign because it’s the center of the district’s future. The Coalition is confident she’ll bring that same focus and technical expertise to the council.

“ have supported Inner Harbor desalination since my first City Council race in 2022, and my position has remained consistent. Water security is economic security. If businesses and industries cannot depend on Corpus Christi to provide water, they will invest somewhere else.”
